Description
This remarkable and rare 1930s Zenith solid gold chronograph represents one of the early wrist chronograph productions by Zenith. The watch features a beautifully restored sector dial and has recently been serviced.
Encased in a solid 18kt gold case signed by Zenith, the watch is in a very good condition. It measures 34.3 mm excluding the crown and it shows only normal signs of wear appropriate for its age. The caseback is pressure-locked, fully signed, and numbered.
The watch is powered by the manual wind Zenith manufacture movement, Caliber 142. This movement, which runs and keeps very good time, has been professionally timed, oiled, and regulated.
Delivered with a 6-month guarantee, this movement is particularly note-worthy as it is based on a Martel movement and was introduced in the early 1930s, making it one of Zenith’s scarcer and early-production chronographs.
The dial of the watch has been professionally restored to a sector style. It is in excellent condition, showing no time patina or oxidations
This watch is also fitted with new plexiglass and a new wristband.
This watch is guaranteed original and it is delivered with our 6 months guarantee and originality certification
International buyers are welcome, we ship to most countries.
