Here is a fascinating Zenith Tank carré watch in gold from the 1960s, in excellent both aesthetic and mechanical conditions.

The case is made of 18kt gold with a pressure-locked back cover, in excellent condition, solidly built and generously sized at 29 mm (excluding the crown) x 39 mm (lugs included). The case is in excellent condition, originally stamped Zenith, and appears to have never been polished.

The watch is also fitted with an 18kt gold bracelet that has been solidly welded to the case. This bracelet, though not marked Zenith, is excellently crafted, in excellent condition, and has a total length of 18 cm.

The mechanical manual winding movement, Zenith Cal. 2552 PC, is in excellent condition both aesthetically and functionally. The movement has been serviced, runs well, and keeps time accurately.

The silvered dial is in excellent condition, featuring a central seconds hand, hand-applied indices, and a classic date display at the 4 o’clock position.
