Its original 14kt solid gold waterproof style case with screw-in back and round pushers, remains in a very good condition, showing minimal signs of wear. It measures 33.5mm in diameter, excluding the original crown.
A notable caseback engraving commemorates William E. John’s victory at the 43rd NYAC (New York Athletic Club) 1956 Block Island regatta, adding unique historical value.
The silvered dial, displaying a consistent time patina and a few very slight oxidations, is well-preserved overall.
