The Rolex Datejust reference 6826 was introduced in the mid-1970s as part of the brand’s offering of smaller-cased automatic watches. This particular reference was often referred to as the “boy size” Datejust due to its 30.5 mm diameter, placing it between the classic men’s and ladies’ models. Despite its smaller dimensions, the 6826 maintained all the technical and aesthetic hallmarks of the Datejust line, including chronometer certification, automatic winding, and the signature date window with Cyclops magnifier. This watch dates to 1975, based on its serial number.
The case is 18kt yellow gold and measures 30.5 mm excluding the original Oyster crown and is complete with its original screw-down caseback. The case is in a very good condition and it shows only light traces of use. The plexiglass is in excellent condition. This watch ha its original white dial with Roman numerals and applied gold inedxes. The dial is in an excellent condition with no time patina and no oxidations This watch is powered by the Rolex in-house Caliber 2030, a chronometer-certified automatic movement working at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a date function.
The watch is completed by a new crocodile strap and with a Rolex clasp.
