The Patek Philippe Nautilus Reference 4700/1A was introduced in 1981 as an extension of the Nautilus line, originally launched in 1976 with the Reference 3700/1, to the female audience.

Designed by Gérald Genta, the Nautilus drew inspiration from maritime portholes, with a distinctive rounded octagonal bezel and integrated bracelet.

The Reference 4700/1A has a stainless steel case measuring 28mm in diameter, excluding the crown, embodying the Nautilus’s signature design elements in a more compact size suitable for slender wrists. It is fitted with its original sapphire crystal, in perfect condition.

The original white dial with Roman numerals and date display is in an excellent condition, with no patina, discoloration, or imperfections.

Powering this timepiece is the Patek Philippe caliber E19C quartz movement. This movement, introduced during the quartz revolution, is known for its precision and reliability.
