This vintage 1947 Omega Ref. 2505-30 oversized 38mm is a one-off with a custom-made Snoopy sunray dial, it is in an excellent condition and just serviced This watch has a stainless steel case measuring 38mm in diameter, excluding the crown. The case shows only light signs of use. The pressure-locked caseback snaps firmly into the mid- case and has the appropriate Omega logo and reference number. The plexiglass crystal is free

from cracks or scratches. The dial is a custom-made silvered sunray (soleil) composition with Snoopy in a space helmet and red scarf, referencing the long-standing symbolic association between Snoopy and NASA missions. The dial has applied Arabic numerals and small seconds at 6 o’clock. The printing is crisp and well-executed, and the dial surface is free of discoloration or notable imperfections. The overall design retains excellent balance and legibility despite the character artwork. The watch is powered by the Omega Caliber 265, a hand-wound movement from the renowned 30mm family introduced in the 1930s. The Cal. 265 has 17 jewels, a 42-hour power reserve, and operates at 18,000 vibrations per hour. It is known for its reliability, ease of service, and historically significant role in Omega’s mid-century production.
