This 1940 Omega tank-style watch in pink gold and with its original black gilt dial is representative of a style which gained popularity in the 1930`-1940`s and is a testament to timeless elegance. The watch has a 25.5mm, measured excluding the crown by 34mm 18-karat pink gold case, it shows only minimal signs of wear, with the caseback securely locking onto the case and bearing the correct Omega signature and serial numbers. The plexiglass crystal is in excellent condition. The original black glossy gilt dial is i avery good consition with well-preserved printing There is a subtle, even patina consistent with the watch’s age, but no significant discoloration or damages, with small seconds at 6 six o`clock Powering the watch is the Omega Caliber 23.4, a manual-winding movement introduced in the mid-1930s. This movement is known for its reliability and it works at a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour.
