Splendid Longines watch with shaped platinum case and diamond dial, with a very particular style, dating from 1939 and in excellent condition both aesthetically and in working order

Original Longines case in platinum and in excellent condition, showing only slight signs of time, measuring 21.2 mm, without the crown, x 37.8 mm. (including lugs) . 

The case is not hallmarked or numbered, these watches were made in the USA under licence from the Longines importer and often do not have hallmarked or numbered cases

Beautiful dial (probably reissued), set with diamonds, in excellent condition, small seconds at hr.6. 

Hand-wound mechanical movement, Longines cal. 9L, serviced and in excellent condition. Runs and keeps time well. This is a movement of old manufacture and quality which in base to its serial is dated 1939

Domed plexy glass, in excellent condition and new strap.
