This IWC Ingenieur Midsize Ref. 4515 is part of the lineage of the Schaffhausen-based brand’s long-standing tradition of engineering-focused wristwatches. Originally introduced in 1955, the Ingenieur line was developed to meet the needs of professionals working in magnetic environments, by using anti-magnetic cases and a robust construction. The Ref. 4515, launched in the 1990s, is a midsize reinterpretation of the Ingenieur concept originally desigend by Gerald Genta. This watch has a 34mm stainless steel case, measured excluding the original screw-down crown. The case is in very good condition and has its original contours and sharp edges, with only light signs of use. The screw-down caseback is properly numbered and tight-fitting. The sapphire crystal is free from scratches or chips.

The silvered dial has a finely textured “waffle” pattern, with applied hour markers, luminous hands, and a date window at 3 o’clock. The dial is crisp and well-preserved, with no discoloration or patina. The watch is powered by the IWC Caliber 30110, a reliable automatic movement based on the ETA 2892-A2 and modified by IWC. It works at 28,800 vibrations per hour, with 21 jewels and a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. The movement is known for its precision, thin profile, and long-term serviceability. This watch is fitted with its original stainless steel bracelet with integrated folding clasp, with an overall length of approximately 18 cm. The bracelet is in very good condition and functions securely.
