Original 2013 Tag Heuer Monaco, man’s steel chronograph, in excellent condition, in proper working order, and complete with it’s original box and papers. Ref. CAW2111 The Heuer Monaco reference 1133 was unveiled on 3 March 1969 as part of the orchestrated launch of the Calibre 11 automatic chronograph, the result of Project 99, a joint venture with Breitling, Büren, and Dubois Dépraz Named after the Monaco Grand Prix, the watch was one of the first automatic chronograph in a water-resistant square case. The Monaco gained significant recognition when Steve McQueen wore the reference 1133B in the 1971 film Le Mans, establishing the watch’s enduring association with motorsport and cinema. Following discontinuation around 1975, TAG Heuer resurrected the Monaco in 1997 with reference CS2110, a 5,000-piece limited edition with a 38mm case and modular automatic chronograph with Dubois-Dépraz module on an ETA 2892-2 base.

This modern reference CAW2111.FC6183 represents a contemporary incarnation with TAG Heuer Calibre 12 automatic movement housed in a 39mm brushed steel square case, with a metallic starburst blue dial with two square sub-dials, water resistance to 100 meters, and sapphire exhibition caseback, maintaining the aesthetic codes established by the 1969 original while incorporating contemporary manufacturing standards.

The Tag Heuer automatic movement, runs well and keeps accurate time. The chrono functions work perfect. Original racing blue sunray dial isin perfect condition, shows no time patina. Quick-set date window at 6 o’clock Steel case in excellent condition, with original signed and numbered back, measures 39mm, without crown x 47 (lugs included).
