BWC – Original “D – Dienshuhr” German WWI Military Luftwaffe Pilot Watch

BWC (Buttes Watch Co.) was founded in 1924 by Arthur Charlet in Buttes, Neuchâtel canton, Switzerland. The “D” designation indicates Luftwaffe issue rather than Wehrmacht “DH” marking. BWC supplied German military forces during WWII.

The company remains operational today at its original Buttes factory location Luftwaffe variants command premiums over Wehrmacht examples.
