Original 1988 R-Series Rolex Daytona “Floating Cosmograph” steel chronograph   ref. 16520, in excellent condition and in proper working order

This watch is part of the first batch of automatic Daytonas manufactured with the “Cosmograph” writing lower than usual and with the tachimetric bezel set at 200 unità. This is quite a rare watch, and few still have the original 200 bezel.

This chronograph is powered by its Rolex / Zenith based automatic winding movement cal 4030, it runs well and keeps accurate time. The Chrono functions start and stop flawlessly

The original Rolex case is in excellent condition, it shows only very light traces of use

The original “Floating Cosmograph” Rolex “T Swiss Made T” inverted 6 white dial is in an excellent condition, it has no time patina and no oxidations

the original Oyster steel wristband ref. 78360 with 503 end pieces is in excellent condition and it has an overall length of approx 20 cm.

The sapphire glass is in excellent condition too, it has no scratches

this watch is original and all parts are correct for this year model
