As far as the outside is concerned ,there are at least two types of writing layout .

PUNCHING : D.H. only .
Letters and numbers are small ( 1mm ) .
S /N : 5 digits .
Considering the high number of recorded watches ( 148 ), it was not easy to define plausible batches .
However , it is considered ,with good approximation , that there might be six main batches :
1. 11XXX / 25XXX ;
2. 40XXX / 49XXX ;
3. 51XXX / 57XXX ;
4. 65XXX / 73XXX ;
5. 75XXX / 77XXX ;
6. 85XXX / 96XXX .
Three watches with a 4 digits S/N were also recorded .
1. The fame acquired during the prewar period on the German market made Glycine
one of the largest supplier of the 3rd Reich .
2. Glycine , togheter with Arsa and Helios , is certainly the most common D.H. available today .
